♿ Accessibility

Our commitment
Georgia Delivers believes everyone deserves the convenience of local food delivery. We want our website and apps to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse.
Standards we aim for
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time certification — we test and improve continuously.
What we've built
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element on the site can be reached and activated using a keyboard alone (Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys).
- Semantic HTML — we use proper heading hierarchy, labelled form fields, and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate the page structure meaningfully.
- Alt text on menu photos — every restaurant menu image includes a descriptive text alternative for users who cannot see images.
- High-contrast dark theme — our dark design is intentionally high-contrast to aid users with low vision or light sensitivity.
- Resizable text — the layout is built to reflow gracefully when browser text size is increased up to 200%.
- Seven languages including Arabic RTL — the site is available in English, Spanish, French (Canadian), Chinese (Simplified), Vietnamese, Punjabi, and Arabic. Arabic displays in full right-to-left layout.
Known limitations
Some third-party payment widgets (Authorize.net, PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App Pay) load inside iframes that we do not control. Their accessibility is the responsibility of each respective provider. If you encounter a barrier during checkout, please contact us (see below) and we can complete your order another way.
We are actively testing with assistive technologies and will continue to improve. If you find something that doesn't work, we want to know.
Need help ordering?
If a barrier on the site is preventing you from placing an order, email us at support@georgiadelivers.com and we'll take your order for you directly. No one should miss lunch because of a technical hurdle.
Feedback
Found an accessibility barrier? Tell us: support@georgiadelivers.com. Please describe what you were trying to do, what happened, and what browser or assistive technology you were using. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs.
